Our Program
Kentucky Elite Archery is a private training facility for youth located in Eastern Kentucky. We are a Junior Olympic Archery Development program. Student athletes at the Academy receive coaching from Nationally Certified USA Archery Level 3 and USA Archery Instructor Trainers. Using the official NTS or National Training System of our USA Olympic and Paralympic National Teams, our coaching curriculum focuses on mental management, physical development, and technical skills training.
Our Services
Individual Coaching Lessons Kentucky Elite offers private one-on-one coaching lessons for student athletes of any skill level. Our NTS Level 3 Coaches and Instructor Trainers will introduce the elements of mental management, physical fitness for archery, and technical skill building needed to compete. $35 Per Hour
Level I: Basic Archery Group Lessons
These small group coaching sessions are perfect for the beginning archer. Even if an archer has had some experience, the Level I sessions will reinforce everything from eye dominance, range rules, and basic techniques. Archers will receive 6 sessions of instruction and fees will be paid at the beginning of the training sessions. $125
Level II: Intermediate Archery Group Lessons
These small group coaching sessions are designed to take the archer to the next level of performance in the sport. The 11 steps to a successful shot execution will be introduced and practiced. They will begin their journey to mastering shot execution and preparing for competition. Archers will receive 6 sessions of instruction and fees will be paid at the beginning of the training sessions. $125
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Adaptive Archery
One of the goals of Kentucky Elite Archery is to make this wonderful sport available to ALL regardless of their ability, different ability, race, ethnicity, social or economic background. We also provide accommodations for our different-abled archers who have a home at Kentucky Elite Archery.
Home School Archery Classes
Kentucky Elite Archery is proud to be a provider of both individual and homeschool group archery lessons. Our staff and facility are available during the day, to accommodate a very unique learning experience for children.
Video and Digital Performance Analysis
Our NTS Level 3 Certified Coaches and Instructor Trainers use video capture and digital software to assess and analyze our archers form and shot execution. We use the latest in digital video and performance analytics to help improve our archer’s technique, form and shot execution. This full hour analysis session is also available as a separate service for any archer of any age or skill level without committing to coaching sessions. $50 Per Hour
NASP, JOAD and SUMMER Camps
Kentucky Elite will bring your program next level coaching with a focus on "fun-damentals", mental management, goal development, and team building activities to grow your program. (3 or 6 hour format = 3 Hours $75 or 6 Hours $125 per archer. Special team pricing for teams over 30 archers. Larger teams can be split into two sessions or two days.) Join Kentucky Elite for it's annual NASP summer camp for 2-days of amazing archery training and development.
Arrow Tag Games
Since the dawn of time, kids (and sometimes adults) have played dodgeball, tag, and more modern versions of tag like paintball. We want to welcome you to Kentucky Elite Archery’s version of the age-old game of tag. It's Safe! It's Fun! Plan Your Next Birthday, Youth Group, and Fun Event With Us!!
Arrow tag games are a fast-moving, safe, and fun activity for team building, youth groups, and ANY special event. Or just come have fun! It is a game that is family-friendly, but brings out that competitive spirit. KEA does not use other trademark archery tag equipment. Competition
Kentucky Elite promotes an opportunity for our archers to put their skills to the test in competitions across the region, state and nationally through S3DA and USA Archery events. Our facility is home to Team Kentucky Elite, a competitive JOAD and S3DA team for archers ages 8-20 from elementary, middle school, high school, and intermediate ages compete for medals and national honors in their age group and bow class. Success? Team Kentucky Elite has amassed, 87 Gold, 51 Silver, and 78 Bronze medals won since established in 2018. Our student athletes compete in multiple bow classes that include universal novice class, traditional/barebow, Olympic recurve, compound pins, and compound open classes. We compete year-round at indoor target, outdoor target, and 3D competitions regionally, state-wide, and nationally. We would love to have you come join our archery family!
